I can create an original design or bring a pre-drawn pattern to life in a hoop or on canvas, framed or unframed. I don’t embroider clothing, jackets, costumes, or wearable pieces — hoops and canvases only. Every commission starts with a sketch and a firm quote, and nothing gets stitched until you approve the design.

Commissions can be scheduled now and will start by October 1st — 3–5 weeks from your scheduled start date.

The artist behind Sew_Kinky_Threads

About the artist

Hi, I’m the artist behind Sew_Kinky_Threads. I take one of the oldest domestic crafts around and use it to stitch things your grandmother definitely didn’t have hanging in her living room. Think muscle guys, jockstraps, rainbow thread, censor bars, and just enough camp to keep everyone guessing whether they should laugh or blush.

Every piece is stitched entirely by hand in Los Angeles and no two are the same. I love the contrast of delicate embroidery and shameless subject matter. There is something deeply satisfying about turning thread into a thirst trap. If it makes someone smile, laugh, or immediately text a friend, I’ve probably done my job.
